U15AA Provincials Wrap Up

 

Dominion - The U15AA Proivincials wrapped up on Sunday with the Halifax Hawks defeating the Glace Bay Miners 1-0 in the final. 

Here's a message from Guy Reid, Cape Breton Regional Directior for Hockey Nova Scotia:

Good morning,

On behalf of Hockey Nova Scotia Minor Council, we wanted to extend a sincere thank you for hosting the U15 AA Hockey Provincials this past weekend.
From the moment teams arrived, it was clear how much hard work and dedication went into organizing an event of this scale.
The hospitality shown by your volunteers, the atmosphere at the Dominion Arena, and the seamless coordination of the games made for an unforgettable experience for the players, coaches, and families.
Hosting a provincial championship is a massive undertaking, and your association truly knocked it out of the park.
You provided a professional, competitive, and welcoming environment that celebrated the spirit of minor hockey.
Please share our gratitude with all the staff, officials, and volunteers who spent their weekend at the rink to make this possible.
All are leaving Glace Bay with great memories and a deep appreciation for your community’s passion for the game.

I want to thank you , your organizing committee, officials, and all the volunteers for your dedication, unbelievable hospitality , friendship and sportsmanship offered to everyone that were fortunate to attend this unforgettable event. I have been around for 26 years, and I have never witnessed anything like it. You folks have certainly raised the bar and I want to thank you all for everything, Every team I spoke with could not believe how great they were treated, and they could not say enough about the nonstop food provided by the good people of Glace Bay Minor Hockey Association . Great Association, Great people, Spectacular event, thanks for having me .
