Thursday afternoon was a special day for our U18 AA Miners as they met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the Glace Bay Miners Forum.

Earlier this month during our historic snow storm, the team helped strangers by shoveling out seniors, and lending a hand wherever needed.

On Thursday the team received recognition for a job well done!

A personal thank you from the Prime Minister of Canada!!!

It shows that a small act of kindness can mean more than you may ever know and can reach farther than you can imagine.

From Coach MacAulay:

We Found out there was a lady that was down to her last few logs that were currently burning in her fire place, which was the last she had available.  She needed her steps and walkway done so she could get logs and continue to have heat.  And it wasn’t a small walkway! These fine young men answered the call and once again represented our association very well in the Community!! Bravo and thank you gentlemen!!!
