Off to Provincials!
The Glace Bay Miners secured their spot in the tournament with a 5-2 win over the Dartmouth Whalers at the Dominion and District Community Centre on Sunday.
Luke MacNeil and Noah Zidana both scored twice while Kolby Kaiser added a single marker for the Miners.
Kai Tremaine and Dax Gregg replied with goals for the Whalers.
Glace Bay’s Noah Boutilier was the winning goaltender. Dartmouth’s Luke Reeves was tagged with the loss.
The under-13 ‘AAA’ provincial championship will run Thursday to Sunday. The eight-team event will be hosted by the TASA Ducks in Upper Tantallon.
